Welcome to Cornish Wife, Cornish Life. My name is Jess, and this is where I share the things that happen in our world, from interior ideas to daily discoveries and inspirations. I grew up and still live on the Cornish coast with the beautiful beaches & countryside as my playground.

In early 2018 I thought, well, now is a good a time as any to start a blog. With so much change happening - our new house build, the Pig Hotel buying our old family home, the renovation looming at our holiday apartments and all whilst juggling life as a new mum. I might as well talk about it ... and see if anyone’s interested!

If you’re anything like me, you will enjoy experiencing the highs and the lows of a real-life renovation project, with all its dirt, diggers and decision makings. And hopefully you can help us a little along the way too.

I never really believed in true love. I thought you were dealt your cards, and you played your best. But I couldn’t have been more wrong. After a couple of pretty tough relationships I found my match, married him and within a couple of years we had our son, Ernie.

Thank you - the support shown to me by my followers is something I cherish. I’ve always believed that you should do what you love, and love what you do. Take pleasure in the small & simple things in everyday life.
